4/28/06 My boss just dropped off a card on my desk for the "holiday" otherwise known as Secretary's Day. I now have a gift certificate for Mervyns. Better late than never, I suppose. His birthday is next week. Must make a card. I'm dog sitting for him this weekend while he is visiting his mom who will have surgery. Hope she pulls through okay. The OA was awfully nasty to the NR yesterday. Does anyone here work in a doc's office? If so, tell me. Can a small pile of closed patient charts stay on a desk until the end of the day at which time they will be filed all at once? Or is it really necessary, as the OA says, to file them as soon as the land on the desk? It isn't like they are in plain view of any other patients. She keeps going on and on about HIPAA and how they must be filed immediately, and I'm sick of it. They were most appreciative of Artboy's lunch yesterday. I made sure to let him know. He started packing yesterday. His room is looking empty. It's going to be weird not going to that house anymore. And he told me last night that he misses my apartment. Which I was surprised about. I haven't missed it so much yet--but we'll see if that changes once we move to the new place. My parent's house has always been home, so that might be why I don't miss it much. Guess we'll see. |
