i think... The NR came in late today. To her credit, she called and left a message with the answering service which was then emailed to me and paged to my boss. She said she'd be in at 10:30. At 10:00, she called and said that she was sorry, that she was completely exhausted, and would be in by 11:00, and asked if that was okay. I just told her that I'd let the boss know. When she arrived, she didn't come in to say hello. I didn't know that she was here until she asked me a question on the intercom. She just came into my office to get a file, and I'm fairly certain that the odor I smelled was alcohol. It's very strong. My boss left for a bit. When he left, I asked him if I needed to say anything to her. He said he'd take care of it when he got back. My stomach is all tied up in knots. *sigh* |
