3 strikes

Okay, so it was way more than 3 strikes, but she's finally out. I went to pick up the NR this morning, and found a vehicle in her parking spot. I parked in the handicap spot, got out of my car to see if she was around, and went back to the car to wait for her. After 5 minutes, she wasn't there, so I called her. No answer. I left a message and said that I'd wait a few more minutes before leaving. 3 more minutes passed, and I called again, leaving a voice mail telling her I was going.

I was fuming on my way to work, and just made it at 8am on the dot. When I got there, my boss was listening to a tape of a meeting that occurred with a counselor of ours, and he was furious about what had gone on there. I won't go into details, but it is really a bunch of BS. I feel for the guy. Anyway, I let my boss know what happened, and started about my day.

We haven't heard a word from the NR. She hasn't called. She didn't return my calls from this morning. I'm hoping she is okay, but I'm sure that she is and just partied too much last night as usual. I'm really disappointed in her, but oh well. C'est la vie. All her friends must know--they haven't called the fourth line at all today.

My boss called in a friend of his, and she's here now answering the phones. She's here temporarily.

Just realized I screwed up today. I told my parents I'd be over for dinner tonight and to watch the last episode of Everwood. But I also told Alaina that I'd be at her house for a Once Upon a Family party. Oh crap.
