enough My brother called last night, and we had a nice chat. He and my SIL are talking and getting along, which I think is good. What that means, exactly, I'm not sure. But since he is still seeing that other girl, I doubt it means they will get back together. He asked me if I could watch Heath this weekend, and I told him I couldn't--that the parents were coming for dinner. He said no worries--and that wasn't why he had called. That it had been awhile since we'd chatted. I was feeling good about the call, and when I told Artboy about him calling, he said, "I'll bet the only reason he called to ask you to babysit Heath, right?" *sigh* I felt like thanking him for making me feel badly about the call. So, Artboy's brother called him last night and told him he'd heard his parents were coming for dinner with my parents this weekend. And like everyone else, he thought something was going to happen, and asked him if there was anything Artboy wanted to tell him. The OA said that I would be coming back next week with a ring on my finger. *sigh* STOP! |
