job excitement

I decided to go online to a couple of the city websites in the area to look for a job. The first site, I found a couple that looked interesting and saved the application as a PDF on my computer. On the second site, I found the job that made me feel as I did years and years ago when I found the posting for my current job. It's the first job posting that I've read that excited me. It's a library job...one that I can do without a library degree, and the upper end of the pay is equivalent of what I currently make. I would be willing to take a pay cut in order to get this job. I really hope I get it, though the timing would really kind of suck for my boss...especially if Jess gets the other job. Who knows, though. Jobs with the City seem to take forever to go through the process so it could be a couple months.

This would be perfect--I could work there, find out if I really want to do library science, and if I decide to, I could take online classes at UofA for a library science degree.

I better start writing up something about what I do to make the transition when I leave someday a bit easier.

Oh my gosh!
